As Preschool B continues to learn about different kinds of vehicles, we started talking about the different kinds of Air Vehicles. This week the class talked about airplanes. Each one shared what they know about it.

Some said that, “It flies in the sky!” while others said, “It’s very fast and can go far far away!”. Some also shared their experiences in riding an airplane – going to different countries and places in the Philippines. When asked if they wanted to ride an airplane, everyone excitedly said, “Yes!”

For the children to have an idea how an airplane moves, we decided to make our very own airplane! Made out of paper that is. 🙂

With different colored paper, Teacher Angelo and Ate Bibit helped the children fold them to make their own paper airplane.

At last, it was time to put these “masterpieces” to the test. The class went out to the playground and had their paper airplanes go on a test flight. The children went all around trying their best in flying these things. They all enjoyed pretending to be “pilots” for a day. 🙂
