There’s so much one can do with tissue cores. One of the many art activities of Preschool A did was to make alligators out of tissue cores. The children painted the said material green during Activity Time 1 and let it dry during Meeting Time and Story Time. Come Activity Time 2, the children glued big googly eyes and some sharp teeth onto the tissue core.
Steps in making an Alligator out of a tissue core:
1. Paint the tissue core green
2. Cut two triangles on one side so that it will look like an alligator’s mouth
3. Cut small triangles from an old folder for the alligator’s teeth and paste them on the sides of the alligator’s mouth
4. Glue two large googly eyes on top!
