Coming back from a whole week of class suspension
, Preschool B
talked about how they can help reduce the waste around us and prevent future floods
or catastrophes from happening. We talked about the concept of
recycling – turning old things to new things.
Using the food boxes donated by Preschool B families, the children made their own Pencil Holders!
The boxes were pre-cut by the teachers.
The children then pasted old newspapers on the boxes.
They then painted these boxes with whatever color they wanted.
They then designed it using sequins and small pieces of colored paper.
And the finished products… Recycled Pencil Holders! 🙂
It’s such a fun activity to do with the children. Try it out at home! For sure, you and your child will enjoy turning old things into new things! 🙂
