V-DAY MADNESS swept the Cardinals Class last February 14! To start of the day, the children poured much love for their family by writing them cards to celebrate the occasion. By using foam sheets, cardboard, googly eyes, and different sizes of heart-shaped cut-outs, the class made a purr-fect cat Valentine card!
Even our story for the day was filled with love! We read I Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. It was a very touching story about the unconditional love of parents for their children that doesn’t waver no matter how much their children and themselves change.
To top of the V-day, the children made heart shaped pancakes. They took turns mixing the batter and waited for their pancake to be cooked before using the heart-shaped cookie cutters. During Snack Time, the class ate the pancakes and shared stories of love and appreciation.
With these lovable and sweet children, every day will always be a day for love!
Happy Valentines day Cardinals Class!
