The Cardinals Class continued to talk about North America. Because the children are so much familiar with the usual painting technique, the class set on to explore a different paint material.

During Activity Time, we mixed food color, flour, and water to make textured paint! The children had fun taking turns in mixing the ingredients. Some mixed primary colors to make them into green, violet, and orange!

Afterwhich, the class used their paint to color the canoes and kayaks!

You may also try out this painting technique at home! Just make sure that you’re ready to get your hands dirty!
