Last June 28, the Cardinals Class explored the concept of fruits and vegetables. As a springboard activity, the children made the Cardinals Class watermelon mobile.
Others couldn’t help themselves having extra fun with the circles!
The story used in class was How Are You Peeling? Foods with Moods. After which, the children drew how they were feeling for the day. All of them drew and shared that they feel happy!
After the story and the sharing time, the real fun begins! The children made their very own fruit salad! The ingredients used were papaya, pineapple, cherries, nata de coco, cream, and condensed milk.
Presto! Here is the finished product!
The Cardinals Class had such a blast eating it! Some even requested to bring home to share to their families!
